Think again.
A top actress needed a strong word of recommendation from a superstar to ensure that she becomes the face of a soft drink brand.
The hiccup is that another fashionista had been nearly finalized for the job, which only meant that the superstar made a SOS call to safeguard the interest of his candidate.
And yes, the late-night call did not go down the drain.
Well this surely proves the old adage right yet again: A friend in need is a friend indeed.
